COMMUNITY OUTREACH
ORGANZATIONS
The Family Crisis Center provides information and education opportunities for all community members. We offer free public awareness presentations to inquiring businesses, religious groups, and community-based organizations. Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault are prevalent in all environments and it is invaluable to be able to recognize, prevent, and know how to support those around us.
CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS
We attend high school classrooms upon request to provide information and encourage de-stigmatizing conversations. We focus on prevention by teaching about healthy relationships and dating violence. These topics allow our youth to be able to recognize red flags for their own relationships and among their peers. Presentations are tailored according to age appropriateness and topics of discussion preferred by the teacher.
INFORMATIONAL BOOTHS AT COMMUNITY EVENTS
Representatives from the Family Crisis Center participate in local community events whenever possible and love to interact with and further educate members of the community. As we strive to reduce the number of incidents through prevention education, these informational booths give anyone the opportunity to learn more about our services and ask questions.
