We have a thriving intern program at the Family Crisis Center. On any given day, you could answer phones, handle confidential paperwork, work personally with local law enforcement, coordinate special events, observe staff members working with clients, spend time in the food bank and thrift store, work on our website and social media outlets, and a multitude of other tasks.

Hours for interns are within the hours of 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. on Fridays. Most interns spend 10-15 hours per week at the Family Crisis Center. There are hours available outside normal times, including, but not limited to working with support groups or assisting with public awareness events.

Each college has specific parameters that qualify a student for an internship. Please contact your college directly for that information.

This is an unpaid internship opportunity.

Please complete the internship application and email it to our Intern Coordinator, Chloe Aponte, at chloea@familycrisiscenter.info
